Tengan aquí un adelanto de lo que mañana se publicará en mi colaboración semanal con las páginas culturales de El Día en las que trato abordar cuestiones ligadas con la arquitectura desde una perspectiva diferente a la crítica arquitectónica para la que aun no me siento capacitada, pero si me siento con fuerzas para intentar llegar al corazón de todos los que tienen algo que hacer o decir para que los lugares donde vivimos sean mejores y funcionen mejor. Nos los merecemos todos.
Así que, adelantándome a mañana, donde recordaré una de las grandes ideas (ahora olvidadas por sus sucesores) de mi maestro Adán Martín, quisiera enseñarles aquí algunos de los aeropuertos diseñados por arquitectos que últimamente me han llamado la atención.
Mestia Airport

This
airport building located in the medieval town of Mestia, Georgia is much smaller than the one in Kutaisi,
but was remarkably designed and constructed within 3 months.
The structure comprises two branches that curve up towards the sky and
serves the local ski resort. Both terminals were built as part of a major
regeneration project in Georgia, which is investing
in architecture to rebrand itself.

have completed this airport building in the medieval mountain town of Mestia,
Georgia.

Architects Narud Stokke Wiig of
Norway and Haptic of London have completed a feasibility study for a new international
airport just outside the Arctic Circle in Norway.
The design takes its inspiration from a
nearby mountain range and the local vernacular architecture.
